On the cover, it has mentioned the benefits for women and a promise of Rs 2500 for under-privileged women. But the purpose of it seems to have been lost as the drive seems to have boomeranged.

BJP national in-charge Pradeep Bhandari posted on X that distributing sanitary pad packets with Rahul Gandhi’s picture was demeaning to women.
However, the Congress maintains that its objective is to empower the under-privileged women. The campaign reflects the self respect and dignity of women they say. It is also a promise of financial freedom for financially deprived women, they insist.
Meanwhile, sitting CM Nitish Kumar has started Mahila Sambhashan to directly reach out to 2 crore women in the state.
