According to the latest report, 45% of international students are drawn by the quality of higher education in the US, while 42% cited the global reputation of American universities as the key factor. The majority of these students are from India as the number has gone up 35% from the previous year.

Another important reason for migrating students is scholarships, especially in STEM fields. Organizations like the National Science Foundation are funding programs, so students can focus on completing their degrees and further enter the competitive job market.
Since there are diverse programs offered under scholarships, more Indians are opting for undergraduate courses in the US. The curriculum in these institutions has also been slightly changed to align with the Indian education system, making it easier for transitioning students.
