Indians Mock Us Tabloid, Fully Justified

The success of Chandrayaan 3 has given immense pleasure and pride to each and every Indian, whether they are living in the country or abroad. It is a slap for those who went on to mock ISRO after the rover had failed to land during Chandrayaan 2, way back in 2019.

Several Western media outlets, newspapers and tabloids have made fun of India’s strides in space. A few months ago, NYT published a cartoon depicting India as a poor country and that rather than spending on necessities, the government is funding what they call limited to developed nations only i.e. exploration.

But, now that ISRO has once again proved its reliability as one of the best Space Agencies in the world, Indians took to social media to mock the tabloids who were disrespecting us. The irony is that they are now congratulating India on its explorations of a place untouched by any man-made structure. It is not the first time though that Western media has to contradict its take on something they made fun of. And, us, Indians are never much behind in putting anyone to their place when it comes to our country
