A staggering number of Indians go abroad for higher studies and job opportunities. And sadly, a fair few of them indulge in illicit activities for easy money. Here is one such story involving two Telugu men from Hyderabad who are charged with a huge fraud scheme in Scotland.
Umar Mohammed and Sunil Theyath, both from Hyderabad, along with 5 other culprits were arrested by Scotland police over fraud scheme charges.
These culprits targeted an elderly Scottish lady from South Lankarshire and looted over a million pounds from her. The fraud scheme took place between May and August.
The event individuals associated with this were nabbed by the Scottish police on the 14th of December and they are currently on remand. The arrests took place in Eastbourne, Stansted, and Dagenham.]
Mohammed went to Oxford Business College and Theyath went to Anwarul-Uloom college. They both are from British-Telugu community.
