Letterboxd, one of the most popular social catalog sites for movies and shows, has included “12th Fail” in their top 10 highest-rated dramas. It is the only Indian movie in the list, alongside films like “Oppenheimer” and “Killers of the Flower Moon.”
The news was shared by Medha Shankar on her Instagram handle, who played the female lead Shraddha in the movie. Shraddha helps Manoj, the protagonist, overcome his struggles and clear the UPSC exam.
Despite a slow start, the movie went on to collect around 66 crores at the box office, thanks to word-of-mouth publicity. However, the real breakthrough came when it premiered on Disney+ Hotstar.
