Sabdham is a Tamil horror thriller that premiered in theaters on February 28. The film is now set for its digital release on Amazon Prime Video on March 28.
Directed by Arivazhagan Venkatachalam, the film received mixed reviews during its theatrical run and was a box office flop. However, Aadhi Pinisetty’s intense performance and Thaman’s gripping background score earned some praise from the audience.

The story follows Ruben (Aadhi Pinisetty), a paranormal investigator from Mumbai. He is called to investigate the mysterious death of a student at a medical college in Munnar.
While probing the case, another student meets an unexplained end. This leads Ruben to uncover a chilling link to a tragic incident from forty years ago. In that tragedy, several children had lost their lives. The deeper Ruben investigates, the more sinister the truth becomes.

Sabdham features a decent supporting cast. Lakshmi Menon plays Avanthika, while Simran appears as Dr. Diana. Laila plays Nancy, and M.S. Bhaskar takes on the role of a casket maker. Rajiv Menon portrays Dr. Daniel.
With its suspenseful storytelling and haunting score, Sabdham’s digital release offers viewers a chance to experience its eerie narrative from the comfort of their homes. We have to see if Sabdham gets better reception on OTT when compared to the theaters.
