Amazon Prime Video is all set to bring a new horror show for the audience after Chhorii 2, titled Khauf. The series will premiere on April 18, 2025, and it is expected to provide a thrilling experience to all those who are willing to watch something different.
The trailer, which came out on April 11, 2025, has also hinted that there might be some jump-scary moments that would leave the viewers scared.

The latest glimpse starts with the introduction of the lead character, Madhuri (Monika Panwar), who arrives in Delhi, searching for a room in any hostel. It seems like she does not have enough budget, and she still manages to find a hostel to stay in.
While things seem to be going fine, Madhuri starts receiving warnings from other girls staying in the hostel, telling her that the room does not let anyone leave so easily.

As the trailer progresses, we get to know that none of the girls have stepped out of the hostel for some reason, and it looks like a spirit or a supernatural force has forced them to stay inside the boundary of the hostel.
Who is this spirit? How is it connected to Madhuri’s room? Will the girls save themselves, or will their lives be claimed by the supernatural force? Everything will be revealed once the show arrives on April 18.

Although horror shows have a habit of creating a lot of hype, the content always turns out to be underwhelming. The perfect example is Adhura, which was released on the same platform around two years ago, and it was neither scary nor thrilling.
However, it seems like the suspense element in Khauf is expected to keep the audience engaged until the end.
But at the same time, it remains to be seen if creator and writer Smita Singh, alongside directors Pankaj Kumar and Surya Balakrishnan, have added enough entertaining moments. Let’s wait and see.
