The second episode of Prime Video’s Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle reunited longtime friends and co-stars Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. Fans expected a lively reunion, but the episode left many disappointed as the spark felt missing.
The format of the show appeared uneven, with games added at random. While Varun and Alia brought their natural energy and easy banter, the episode still failed to capture the effortless fun audiences usually associate with the duo.
In one clip shared by Prime Video, Varun jokingly asked Alia, “Is it tricky with Singham?” The slip triggered laughter from Kajol, Twinkle, and Alia. However, many viewers felt the joke wasn’t particularly funny and relied more on reactions than wit.
Kajol quickly quipped, “That’s not the title of our show,” as Varun laughed off his fumble. Observers noted that such forced humour and repeated gag-like moments seem influenced by Karan Johar’s signature style of talk show segments.
Varun later turned to Twinkle with another line, suggesting, “Gymnastics would be for you. Stunts with Khiladi.” The joke again drew laughter, though it lacked genuine punch. Twinkle ended the bit with a witty remark to close the segment.
While the reunion of Varun and Alia was exciting on paper, the overall episode failed to live up to expectations. Fans called the episode underwhelming and felt both stars deserved a better setup from Kajol and Twinkle.
