Washout in Theaters: Second Chance on OTT?

Mere Husband Ki Biwi was released in cinemas on February 21, 2025. The romantic comedy stars Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles.

Almost two months after its theatrical release, the movie is all set for its digital debut.

According to reports, Mere Husband Ki Biwi is expected to release on OTT on April 18, 2025.

The film’s streaming partner has already been revealed. As per the posters and trailer, the rom-com will be available to watch on JioHotstar.

However, it should be noted that there has been no official confirmation regarding the film’s digital release date yet.

Mere Husband Ki Biwi follows a love triangle featuring Arjun Kapoor as Ankur, Bhumi Pednekar as Prabhleen, and Rakul Preet Singh as Antara.

The supporting cast includes Aditya Seal, Dino Morea, Harsh Gujral, and more.

The chaotic plot revolves around a man caught between his ex-wife, who has forgotten about their separation, and his fiancée.

The film was a disaster at the box office, barely earning around ₹10 crores in India.

Its release was possibly overshadowed by Chhaava, which premiered a week earlier.

However, those who did watch Mere Husband Ki Biwi have said the film wasn’t as bad as its box office numbers suggest.

If the audience reviews are accurate, it will be interesting to see whether the film gets a second chance to redeem itself on the OTT platform.
