In this week’s Netflix Non-English Top 10 trending movies list, The Test has secured the third position, while Vicky Kaushal’s critically acclaimed Chhaava has landed in fourth place.

Following this, some netizens expressed disappointment, saying it looks terrible that Chhaava, a supposed masterpiece, is trailing behind The Test in the trending list.
Some even labeled The Test as one of the worst movies in recent times and questioned the taste of OTT audiences.

However, trade experts clarified that this outcome is primarily due to the release pattern. Chhaava was released in theaters on February 14 and began streaming on Netflix only on April 11, after an eight-week theatrical run.
In contrast, The Test was a direct OTT release, giving it a fresh advantage in terms of viewership on the platform.

It remains to be seen whether The Test will continue to lead Chhaava on Netflix or if Chhaava will gain momentum in the coming weeks and take a significant lead in viewership.
