Devara On OTT: Netflix Blasting Away Prime?

The OTT game down south has been largely dominated by Netflix in the recent past. With consecutive noise-making films, Netflix has been trending the charts.

First it was Animal, which spurred a lot of discussions on social media with its provocative content. It was followed by Salaar which again had some recall value thanks to the action blocks.

Netflix even found an unlikely winner in Guntur Kaaram which trended atop on social media charts for a while.

All the while, Amazon Prime pinned its hopes on Kalki which disappeared without any kind of noise whatsoever. It was a complete bummer on OTT as it packed zero recall value.

And now, Netflix has another topic-driving film in the form of Devara which is likely to arrive on the platform on the 8th of this month.

If Devara also makes adequate noise on Netflix then the OTT giant will clock an array of consecutive winners from Telugu cinema.

And the biggest of the lot, Pushpa 2 is also on the horizon of making big noise on OTT. This is a massive release and has great prospects on OTT after the amazing success of the first part on Amazon Prime.

As it appears, the Telugu OTT space is completely dominated by Netflix as Amazon Prime is nowhere in the scene.
