Dhanush’s Captain Miller, which was released on January 12th of this year, has acquired the Best Foreign Film award at the UK’s National Awards. This movie doesn’t meet the expectations of Tamil cinema audiences and also received mixed reviews from critics during the time of its release.
Captain Miller was directed by Arun Matheshwaran; the musical album of this movie was composed by GV Prakash Kumar; and it has a stellar cast, such as Priyanka Mohan, Shivrajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, and many others. This film had huge expectations before its release, as the trailer and first-look posters were of high quality. But once the movie got released, it ended up being an average film and didn’t perform as well at the box office as expected.
Although the movie ended up being average, it has quality visuals and a lot of other factors, such as international background scores and peak cinematic action scenes. Dhanush, who has huge hopes for this film, has a moral victory as it managed to acquire an international award for its quality cinematic stuff. The award was announced this morning. After the announcement, Captain Miller’s team members were flooded with wishes, and the actor’s fans were also celebrating it.
