The latest teaser for Fallout TV on Prime Video offers an insight into the dark post-apocalyptic narrative and the comedic events within the agony. The Ghoul character played by Walton Goggins, a content family father before the nuclear holocaust, is a cunning salesperson who rents out space in surviving vaults.
The Ghoul may also make Lucy, Ella Purnell’s Vault Dweller character, apprehensive as she travels across Los Angeles and encounters brutal reality.
Additionally, Lucy gets acquainted with Maximus, a young soldier in the Brotherhood of Steel who is driven by the Brotherhood’s goal of establishing law and order in the wasteland while having an abundance of optimism. Moldaver and Ma June are also introduced in the trailer.
Goggins characterized his Ghoul as pragmatic, vicious, and evil in video remarks, drawing comparisons between him and Virgil from Dante’s Inferno. Goggins’ persona connects the pre- and post-nuclear holocaust worlds of Fallout.
Jonathan Nolan, the executive producer, called the TV show a lighthearted post-apocalyptic tale and complemented its tone and positivity. Geneva Robertson-Dworet, co-showrunner, referred to the Ghouls as “the most empathetic” tribe. On April 11, Fallout launched on Prime Video.
