Asim Abbasi’s fantasy television series run by Zindagi has made it big amongst the Indian and Pakistani audiences. Barzakh is available to stream on ZEE5 for international audiences as well. With its episodes releasing every Tuesday and Friday, we are nearing the series finale. On 6 August the series finale will come to our small screens. The show received much love but also the hatred of homophobes and religious extremists.
With the release of the semi final episode on 2 August the fans are super excited for the finale. Mo Azmi’s cinematography combined with a mysterious storyline and star cast of Fawad Khan, Sanam Saeed, M Fawad Khan, Sajid Hassan and Uzma Beg has created a spellbinding effect. Fans are still under anticipation as to what secrets lay hidden. The past is inexplicably blended with the present. The show covers different trajectories where different realms interact. The mystical appeal along with real life struggles create a gripping narrative.
As the finale approaches, the Land Of Nowhere is headed towards the end of the world. Will Aaqa fulfil his destiny and merge with the land of fairies? Or will the town dwellers stop him from bringing destruction? Interestingly even at the end of the show a lot of things are unclear and netizens are speculating that season 2 is definitely needed. As the show has become fan favourite we can expect that the makers will bring a sequel! It will be interesting to witness what will happen in the finale.
