Twinkle Khanna and Kajol’s new show Two Much on Prime Video has drawn heavy backlash since its release. Viewers say the show lives up to its title in the wrong way — with “too much” arrogance, awkward humour, and unnecessary attitude.
The main complaint from fans is about Twinkle Khanna’s behaviour. So far, three episodes have featured Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Akshay Kumar, and Saif Ali Khan. But instead of charm, Twinkle’s attitude has taken centre stage.
In the latest episode with Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, viewers felt Twinkle went overboard. She repeatedly mocked Akshay and made constant jokes about their marriage. At one point, she even hinted that she didn’t want to be with him when he was struggling with flops.
Even when Akshay complimented her, Twinkle replied with sarcasm and forced humour. Fans said her constant teasing made her seem condescending rather than witty. Many felt she tried too hard to appear clever, ending up rude and dismissive instead.
After watching the episode, many viewers expressed sympathy for Akshay. Some even joked that he does multiple films a year just to escape his wife’s arrogance. Social media users said Twinkle’s remarks reflected insensitivity more than confidence.
Twinkle didn’t stop at Akshay. She also made uncomfortable comments about earlier guests. In her first interview, she joked about Aamir Khan’s divorces, saying she was “stuck with one” while he could change partners. Even Aamir called her rude, though he laughed it off.
Fans have accused Twinkle of hiding arrogance behind pseudo-feminism and unnecessary provocation. With only three episodes released, Two Much has mostly received negative reactions. Many are now wondering if the show will survive beyond its debut season.
