People are frustrated with the sports streaming on various platforms in India. It looks like no platform takes the genre seriously and fans are flabbergasted with ads and low quality.

The Guard of Honour is not something dispensable that the platform can do away with. People want to watch it with as much interest as the actual match.
OTT platforms need to understand the emotions of fans with more care otherwise this gap that has been created will only be bigger.

Choosing to show ads instead of a very significant part of the match is a very disgraceful act on Jio Hotstar’s part and the platform should know better. If it continues like this, people will be disinterested in watching the matches from OTT and resort to piracy.
