TVF’s ‘Gram Chikitsalay’ has now been released on Prime Video and it is gathering a decent amount of views as well. There are people who are admiring the series for its story and performances but there are also people who are concerned about TVF getting stuck in a loop.
TVF started with shows like ‘Cubicles’ and ‘Kota Factory’ and made parodies of the film industries that are susceptible to being stuck in set formulas.

But it looks like they themselves have fallen prey to a formula after the huge success of Panchayat. Gram Chikitsalay does feel like a repackaging of Panchayat in a new setting.
It is very visible to audiences as well and they feel the story feels somewhat predictable because of that. Gram Chikitsalay has its moments of fun and emotions, but it looks like it fails to create an unique experience like Panchayat.

It would be better if Prime Video and TVF try some new subject and setting rather than trying to recreate that same experience every time.
There are some good reviews of the show and definitely it will be loved by more people but as audiences expect more original and extraordinary stories from TVF and Prime Video, they should try to refrain from these formulaic storytelling.
