Sunny Deol’s Jaat was released on Netflix this month, and the response has been positive, as it has managed to grab the fifth spot among the top 10 weekly global charts of the streaming platform.
The first week recorded almost 4.1 million views alongside watching hours of around 10.3 million. It is currently trending in seven countries, including Bahrain, and has taken over Jewel Thief and Pushpa 2. However, the first week number still falls a little bit low compared to Sikandar.

Salman Khan’s film recorded almost 5.1 million views. Although it failed to beat Pushpa 2, the number was higher compared to the ones recorded by Hit: The Third Case.
Jewel Thief is on top with 7.8 million views, which means that Jaat has to get better viewership in the next few days to take over the same position. Dhoom Dhaam is on the same spot as Jaat, recording 4.1 million views.

The remaining spots have been taken by Nadaaniyan, Vidaamuyarchi, Deva, Test, Officer On Duty, and Good Bad Ugly.
Audiences are interested in watching Jaat. But the reason behind low viewership numbers compared to Sikandar on its debut week is something that cannot be answered for now.

Jaat was a decent hit at the box office. A sequel was shortly announced after its release. While there have been no updates on when the sequel will go on floors, a better viewership number on Netflix might give a push to the makers to start production as soon as possible.
