JioCinema and Disney+Hotstar have finally been merged now, and people are talking about the new ‘Jio Hotstar’ all over social media.
Many of the posts about Jio Hotstar are about whether the users would have to take new subscription plans or not. After the merging people expected that the previous users will not have to take any further subscription and their current plans will shift to Jio Hotstar, but many are facing some confusions regarding this shift.

Multiple users have made posts about how their subscription plan is being reduced after the merging. One says that his plan was till November 2025 but the new plan shows only till March.
Another says that his present plan is upto to the 7th of March, 2025 and after recharging for three months, it shows a plan upto May 14th, which is 22 days shorter.

People are confused regarding whether the combined subscriptions of Disney+Hotstar and JioCinema will be counted or separately. And the platform has not clarified anything clearly yet.
Jio Hotstar is making a very bad impression from the very beginning and they should try to clarify these doubts for users if they wish to continue with a large subscriber base.
