Looking for an action flick to stream? Max, starring Kiccha Sudeep, is coming on Zee5 on February 15, 2025 at 7:30 PM IST. This Kannada thriller has action & a one night storyline. Is it just another cop drama or does it pack a punch?
Directed by Vijay Karthikeyaa, Max is about Inspector Arjun Mahakshay (Sudeep), a suspended cop who gets trapped in a jail.

With danger closing in, he has to survive the night. The film is produced by V Creations and Kichcha Creations and has good production values and a pumping background score.
Sudeep is outstanding and the action is well executed. The film keeps the tension high and never lets the pace drop. The cinematography and BGM is good and it’s a thrilling ride. But does it deliver beyond action?

The biggest minus? The Villain. A stronger villain could have made the stakes higher. Some parts of the film are a bit chaotic and the storytelling gets confusing. It keeps you hooked but doesn’t offer much depth and it’s a one time watch.
If you like action thrillers, Max is a decent watch. It’s fast, intense and Sudeep is good. But if you’re expecting something out of the box this might not be it. Still for an OTT action film it’s worth watching. Will you be watching?
