As per reports, Junaid Khan’s ‘Loveyapa’ is going to make its OTT premiere soon. It will be coming out on Jio Hotstar on the 4th of April. But Jio Hotstar is not making any noise about the film.
It is true that Loveyapa was a theatrical disaster and could not do much but that does not mean that it should not have a promotion on OTT.

There are chances that the movie can make it big if the promotions are done right. At least it was not trolled like Naadaniyan. But Jio Hotstar does not seem to spread word for the movie otherwise there would have been at least a few posts on social media.
The platform has nothing to lose with it. It already has a very bad name and the licensed movies list are not at all commendable. Loveyapa will not improve Jio Hotstar’s image, but at least it could generate some organic views if the promotions are done right.

Making the movie come out on OTT without any prior notice or a little promotion will be a bad decision for the platform. At least people should know they can watch the movie here.
