Mattel appoints Natalia Premovic

Mattel, Inc. has announced the appointment of Natalia Premovic as Chief Consumer Products and Experiences Officer. You should note that her appointment will take effect from January 5, 2026, as the company strengthens its leadership team.

For your reference, the toy company is currently valued at $6.37 billion and is trading at $20.46 per share. It also maintains a “GOOD” financial health rating, based on InvestingPro data shared by the company.

In her new role, Premovic will oversee Mattel’s global consumer products, experiences, publishing, and location-based entertainment divisions. She will report directly to Mattel Chairman and CEO Ynon Kreiz.

Premovic joins Mattel from Netflix, where she led the consumer products business across the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. You may recognise her work through more than 150 global partnerships she helped execute.

She also played a key role in projects like Netflix House. During her tenure, she helped turn major titles such as Stranger Things, Bridgerton, and Squid Game into large-scale franchise ecosystems.

In a separate update, Mattel announced a delay in its collaboration with OpenAI, which was earlier planned for the 2025 holiday season. You should also note that the company has revealed plans for a $600 million public offering to manage its debt obligations.
