Sikandar Ka Muqaddar Flop Reviews Good Numbers

Jimmy Shergill’s newest chase drama Sikandar Ka Muqaddar recently made its way to Netflix last weekend. The film had huge expectations as Neeraj Pandey assembled a high-profile cast including Avinash Tiwary and Tamannaah Bhatia alongside Jimmy Shergill.

The film itself got a decent response from the audience despite having several lackluster moments throughout the film. Fans talked about how the performances by Shergill and Tiwary were the highlights of the film making it a memorable watch.

It garnered a viewership of 3.2 Million viewers occupying the fourth spot in Netflix’s global tranding this week. Comparing it to Hindi films which arrived on the platform earlier this year, it matches Ajay Devgn’s Shaitaan with around 3.2 million views in its first week.

The film has also entered the tenth spot for most views in debut week for a Hindi film hanging with Sector 36, Shaitaan, and other blockbusters like Animal, Fighter, and Crew. However comparing it with other Netflix originals that arrived directly on the streaming service, it is in the fifth spot after Maharaj, Do Patti, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dilruba, and Sector 36.

Another big win for the film is that it has also beaten Diljit Dosanjh’s sleeper hit Amar Singh Chamkila. With 2.4 million views in its debut week, Diljit Dosanjh’s starrer is relatively behind Jimmy Shergill’s cop chase game.

As the film is still fresh on Netflix, it remains to be seen how it turns out to be in the upcoming weeks.
