Malayalam cinema is flying high with consecutive blockbusters with their latest outings Bramayugam and Premalu going great guns at the Mallu ticket counters.
Bramayugam is a slow-paced horror thriller that caters to the target audience. The film is being lapped up by the Malayali audience and it had a strong weekend. Coming to the digital streaming prospect, it will stream on Sony Liv soon.
Then there is Premalu which has all the traits to work well on OTT. It is a funny rom-com set in Hyderabad, so there is an instant connect factor for the Telugu OTT audience. This film’s OTT prospects look very bright.
As for Premalu, it will be streaming on Netflix from next month, according to reports. This film has decent prospects in the Telugu OTT space as well.
The Telugu OTT audience have other upcoming outings like Bootcut Balaraju and Ambajipeta Marriage Band. Bootcut will stream on Aha Video from the 26th of this month and Ambajipeta is also set to stream on Aha Video starting soon.
