Yami Gautam’s Dhoom Dhaam is living up to its name on Netflix. It has become the third most viewed film of the year next to Lucky Bhaskar and Pushpa 2.

With 4.1 million views in the first week, Rishab Seth’s directorial can be called an OTT hit. With top 10 status in many countries abroad it has even maintained number 1 status in five countries over the past week.

Before this Yami’s Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga was also an OTT blockbuster. It became the most watched Hindi film with 30 million views on Netflix.

Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein (4 million) and Thalapathy Vijay’s The GOAT (3.8 million) was surpassed by Yami Gautam and Pratik Gandhi starrer to land amongst the most-viewed Indian films in their debut week.

Fans feel that in comparison to that Dhoom Dhaam is just an average film but still managed to enter the top 5 league. Certainly, the patterns show that Yami is loved at OTT platforms.

Even Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga was in the top 10 list of many countries. Mid-budget genre pieces with light but thrilling storyline have increased their influence over the masses.

With continued success on OTT, Yami can hope for a stronger comeback at the box office if she finds a script that suits her. With her performance and following fans would be eager to see more from her for sure.
