Prime Video has tried its ‘Panchayat’ formula once again with its new TVF show ‘Gram Chikitsalay’ but it looks like the show has backfired for the platform.
People are not liking the show at all and TVF is risking it all with its formulaic storytelling. The production house is known for its unique and innovative titles but now it is going for the fame that its biggest success has given.

Trying to imitate Panchayat has taken its toll and people are losing trust from the company. Gram Chikitsalay might have worked out if it were to come before Panchayat or from any other platform. But now the similarities are too visible to make people watch it.

People are calling the show a snoozefest and they say the subplots are not as well-plotted as in Panchayat. TVF and Prime Video have set the bar too high and that is one of the biggest reasons for the disappointment.

It rarely happens that audiences are not liking a Prime Video original. The platform is known for its wonderful taste of scripts and it will have to come up with something better very soon to make up for this.
