Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela’s much-anticipated romantic musical has finally locked a release date, but one big mystery continues to follow the film: its title. The Anurag Basu directorial will arrive in cinemas on April 30, 2027, as announced by the makers on October 15. However, the announcement has once again left fans wondering why the project is still being referred to as an untitled film.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar under the T-Series banner, the film marks Kartik and Sreeleela’s first on-screen collaboration, with music composed by Pritam. Initially scheduled for December 2025, the romantic musical has undergone multiple changes to its release timeline. Now, even as its theatrical arrival gets a confirmed date, the makers are keeping its official title under wraps.
The title mystery has a backstory. The project was widely discussed as Aashiqui 3 when it was first announced, but T-Series subsequently clarified that the film was neither Aashiqui 3 nor part of the franchise. The situation is complicated by the rights associated with the Aashiqui films, which are jointly owned by T-Series and Vishesh Films.
Social media users have been eager for clarity, with fans asking the makers to reveal the title alongside the release date. While some remain excited about the fresh pairing and Anurag Basu’s musical storytelling, the prolonged wait has kept speculation alive.
For now, April 30, 2027, is firmly on the calendar, but the film’s name remains the missing piece. Will the makers finally unveil it soon? That remains a question.
