Fans are complaining that a few titles from Prime Video India are disappearing and they cannot find them on the platform anymore. The show ‘Desperate Housewives’ was available to watch on Prime even a few days ago and now it is not there.
When asked on social media whether this is a glitch or not, Prime Video’s customer help service replied that it was not a glitch but happened because the license of the show with Prime was over now and they did not have the authority to stream it anymore.
This has evoked some outrage and it is quite natural too. Fans think the platform should at least give a notice before the titles start to disappear like this. Netflix has done this for a long time, that whenever a movie or show is leaving the platform, they make sure to inform the audiences.
Rom-coms like Desperate Housewives are generally watched over a long period of time and if audiences suddenly discover that the show is not there anymore on the platform it is very frustrating.
Prime Video Should learn and adapt this from Netflix and try to take care of what subscribers need and want.
