He’s stepping behind the camera for his directorial debut with The Ba**ds of Bollywood, a series that explores the complex dynamics of the entertainment industry. The show was announced in February 2025.
Bobby Deol and Raghav Juyal are reportedly part of the cast, though they won’t be playing negative roles.
Bobby received a lot of love for his intense villainous roles in Animal and Aashram, while Raghav gained praise for his gritty performance in Kill.
However, according to recent reports, both actors will be stepping away from their darker on-screen personas for this series.
The Ba*ds of Bollywood is being produced by Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment and is set to stream on Netflix, although an official release date hasn’t been announced yet.
People are appreciating Aryan Khan for choosing to debut as a director rather than following the usual acting route.
Meanwhile, Suhana Khan, Shah Rukh’s daughter, made her acting debut in The Archies and received mixed reactions for her performance.
The promo for Aryan’s series was well-received and comes across as a promising project.
While Suhana didn’t quite meet fans’ expectations, there’s hope that Aryan will deliver something both meaningful and entertaining.
