Prime Video has officially announced the global premiere date of its upcoming Hindi Original series, The Revolutionaries. Directed by Nikkhil Advani, the period drama based on India’s freedom struggle is scheduled to premiere worldwide on September 11, 2026.
Set during India’s fight for independence, the series follows four revolutionaries who chose armed resistance against British rule. It explores their secret missions, political battles, personal sacrifices and the courage that shaped their journey.
The Revolutionaries will stream in Hindi and will also be available in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Bengali. The series will feature English and several international-language subtitles, making it accessible to audiences across the world.
The cast includes Bhuvan Bam, Rohit Saraf, Pratibha Ranta and Gurfateh Pirzada in key roles. Bhuvan portrays Rash Behari Bose, while Rohit plays Sachindra Nath Sanyal. Pratibha Ranta appears as Pratibha Lahiri and Gurfateh Pirzada essays the role of Bagha Jatin.
The supporting cast features Jason Shah, Paoli Dam and Tota Roy Chowdhury. The series is produced by Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani under the Emmay Entertainment banner.
The Revolutionaries marks another collaboration between Nikkhil Advani and Prime Video after the success of Mumbai Diaries. The filmmaker has previously directed acclaimed projects including Kal Ho Naa Ho, D-Day, Batla House, Satyameva Jayate and Freedom at Midnight.
With its historical backdrop, strong cast and large-scale production, The Revolutionaries has generated significant anticipation. It now remains to be seen whether the series lives up to expectations and connects with audiences worldwide after its release.
