Directed by Vivek Das Chaudhary, the story follows Ramakant, a frugal man. His obsession with retrieving an expensive toaster leads to unexpected chaos. The plot builds on a simple situation that quickly turns complicated.

In the film, Ramakant and his wife, played by Sanya Malhotra, buy the toaster as a wedding gift. However, the wedding gets cancelled suddenly. What starts as a small issue soon evolves into a dark comedy filled with twists.

The narrative explores crime, secrets, and unpredictable events. The film also features a strong supporting cast including Archana Puran Singh, Seema Pahwa, Abhishek Banerjee, and Farah Khan in a special acting role.

Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra reunite for the second time after Ludo. Their previous collaboration was well received. This pairing has raised expectations for engaging performances in this film.

Rajkummar Rao was last seen in Bhool Chuk Maaf and Maalik, which did not perform as expected. Sanya Malhotra appeared in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. With Toaster, both actors aim to deliver a strong comeback.
