Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par is releasing in a few days, and just like how Aamir isn’t holding back on the promotions, his fans aren’t holding back on the criticism either.

Many fans have taken to social media to express their frustration about how Aamir is going all out with the promotional activities and at this point, it’s starting to annoy them.

Aamir has been giving numerous promotional interviews over the past few weeks, and fans are frustrated that they have to see him everywhere.

They complained that every new day brings a fresh wave of interviews, and they’ve simply had enough.

According to fans, there’s an oversaturation of Aamir-related content in the media, and it’s killing their excitement for the film.

One example fans pointed out is a recent interview where Aamir mentioned he had no say in naming his children Junaid, Ira, and Azad, claiming his wives chose the names based on Hindu traditions and history.

In response, several users argued that these names don’t actually originate from Hindu tradition, accusing Aamir of attempting to rewrite narratives in his favour.

It seems like Aamir is trying his best to whitewash his image after being repeatedly targeted and trolled. But what he doesn’t realise is that in doing so, he’s only giving people more material to criticise.

He’s been oversharing a lot, and fans are now concerned about the impact it’s having on his public image.

They feel that Aamir’s overexposure comes across as a desperate attempt to pull audiences into theatres, almost like he’s begging for attention.

Unfortunately, the reaction he’s receiving might not be what he was hoping for.




Everything needs to be done in moderation, even film promotions. Aamir may have intended to build hype, but ironically, he may have ended up making people lose interest altogether.
