Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par is arriving in cinemas this Friday, June 20, 2025. The superstar is doing everything that he can to promote the film. This includes interviews, podcast appearances, and a lot more.
But the biggest question right now is whether these steps will help the film get a huge opening. Although the trailer of SZP came out a long time ago, the film has not created enough buzz, and it seems the film has to now depend on positive word-of-mouth so that it becomes successful.

Instead of appearing for interviews, Aamir should now focus on using other promotional strategies that will turn out to be beneficial for SZP.
Aamir has to understand that interactions on any platform do not help a film to do well at the box office. Compared to Aamir, Shah Rukh Khan never used such strategies. He simply released the trailer and songs of his films, and they easily pulled audiences to theatres.

SZP can also repeat the same success. But the makers, including Aamir, who is the producer, have to release more materials right now to let people know that the film is arriving in theatres.
With only four days left, the advance booking has not opened yet as the film has not yet received a censor certificate. Aamir has to resolve these issues instead of appearing for interviews. A huge opening is guaranteed only if the advance booking is opened around 3-4 days before release.

For now, it is hard to predict anything about the first-day collections of SZP. Everything will depend on the film’s content, and Aamir’s performance has to be different.
