Akshay Kumar’s 40-Day Film Habit Returns to Haunt Him?

Akshay Kumar Samuk film shooting update

Akshay Kumar and Vipul Amrutal Shah are collaborating on Samuk, a science-fiction action thriller. Latest updates have revealed that the movie has finished its shooting schedule in the UK, and it will now be shot in Mumbai for the last 20 days.

Although a potential release date has not been revealed yet, Samuk has been directed by Kanishk Varma, and 80% of the shoot was completed during the UK schedule. Notably, the team started filming for the project in August this year.

Amid the new updates going viral on social media, netizens have now started raising questions about the final product that they will get to see on the big screen. Most of them addressed the reports about the film, claiming that it is a big-scale project, and stated that why a film of such a level is being completed in only a few months.

A majority criticized Akshay Kumar for going back to his old habits, for which his films flopped at the box office. People said that AK’s habit of completing the shoot in only 30-40 days has already created a bad reputation among the audience, and if it continues now, no one will show interest in his films.

A few fans also expressed their frustration. They said that people are waiting to see Akshay and Vipul work together after a long time, and considering that, they need to take more time to bring a perfect movie to theatres instead of trying to complete the shoot as soon as possible.

Some supporters stated that there is a way of attracting audiences for a film by announcing it at first and committing to the same for at least a year. They then questioned Akshay’s choice of announcing and completing the shoot in a few months.

On the other hand, the current update has now led to a lot of doubts about the film’s potential at the box office. Social media users stated that Akshay’s last film, Haiwaan, has already emerged as a disaster, and if he understands the situation, then he should give some more time to Samuk, which will also create a long gap between his films.

As of now, Akshay has not responded to the criticism that has emerged online. But only time will tell if the actor will take the advice of the audience seriously or if he will prefer to do things as he wants to.
