Amitabh Bachchan’s Son-in-law and Raj Kapoor’s grandson, Nikhil Nanda has landed himself in serious legal trouble. The business tycoon is facing charges of fraud and abetment to suicide.
Jitendra Singh, owner of a tractor dealership in Uttar Pradesh, allegedly took his life under the pressure mounted on him from Nanda’s company, Escorts Kubota.
The UP trader was facing challenges after his business partner was imprisoned. Jitendra’s family claims Nanda and several of his company’s employees continued to pressure and threaten him with revocation of his license which led to him committing suicide.
His tragic end has now sparked a legal battle, with his brother filing a case against Escorts Kubota. The court has ordered an official investigation against Nanda and his company’s executive.
Nikhil Nanda is the son of Raj Kapoor’s daughter, Ritu Nanda, and married to Big B’s daughter, Shweta Bachchan. With a large business enterprise and Bollywood connections, it remains to be seen whether he will get away, in this case, scot-free.
So far, there haven’t been any official statements from Nanda or his company. As the investigation is ongoing more details are awaited.
