Day after day, we see Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ getting deeper and deeper into controversies and there seems to be no respite from those outfits that have raised voices against the film’s release.

The Supreme Court of India had dismissed the plea to ban the movie’s release on 1st December and laid the entire burden on the Central Board of Film Certification to decide and certify the movie. If anything objectionable, the CBFC will suggest cuts and deletions, anyway.
However, there is one member in the CBFC who is demanding that the director must be tried in the court for distorting the history. Many outfits and royal families in Rajasthan are demanding that the film must be shown to them. Things seem to be getting tenser, by the day.
