Deepika Padukone

As we all know Deepika Padukone was at the peak of her career in 2014. With exciting projects lined up for her, anyone will think there is nothing else she could ask for.

But deep down in her personal life she was battling with mental health issues. Being tired and overworked is one thing but there were days when she would just collapse and couldn’t make sense of what was wrong with her.

Her parents also grew concerned and helped her have many health check-ups but nothing came out of it. Then her mother recommended her to go see a therapist.

Later it was diagnosed that she had anxiety and depression. She started taking therapy but all of this was hidden from the public like a dark secret.

Much later in her life she questioned the stigma around her condition and decided to open up about it in public. Ever since then she has been vocal about spreading mental health awareness and now she even has an NGO, The Live Laugh Love Foundation that aims to help people with mental health issues.
