Saif Ali Khan is one of the most decorated actors in our country and has given several hits over the years. The renowned actor was last seen in Jr NTR’s action entertainer Devara and played the antagonist role in the film.
In his personal life, he was heavily involved in several controversies in the 1990s regarding his relationship with fellow actress Amrita Singh. The duo tied the knot in 1991 but separated in 2004 after major incompatibility issues.

In several interviews over the years, both the actors have openly talked about their relationship and how it kept getting worse with time. Amrita stated how she didn’t want to keep an eye on Saif every time he went outdoors for shooting as it would be demeaning.
She further stated how the duo had several fights and arguments making things more complicated. Amrita also revealed how she wanted to bash Saif Ali Khan with a frying pan during their ugly arguments.

“I cried and fought, did normal things that any woman wanted to do. I wanted to bash Saif’s head with a frying pan” said Amrita. It shows how disappointing the marriage both the actors had and it was evident for both of them to separate and move on in their lives.
Saif Ali Khan has also talked about how his first marriage could not last due to compatibility issues and it was the best decision to split up. Saif then married Kareena Kapoor and is happily living with her along with his two sons, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan.
