Jr. NTR’s Devara: Part 1 is trending positively at the Hindi Box Office. Despite the significant drops seen on Monday, the film surpassed expectations showing significant growth on Day 5, with a net collection of ₹4.5 Cr. according to trade reports, owing to the lead-up to the Gandhi Jayanthi Holiday.

Devara’s Day 5 collection turned out to be bigger than Day 4, which had totaled out at ₹4 Cr. With this significant boost, the film’s net collection at the Hindi BO reached ₹36 Cr., going by Bollywood trade websites.
With it being a national holiday on Gandhi Jayanthi, people have been wondering how much boost Devara will get, and whether the film will be able to surpass its Day 1 collection of ₹7.5 Cr., which if achieved, would be a commendable feat.

With a solid opening on Day 1, and a decent combined collection of 20Cr., on Days 2 and 3, the setback of Day 4 seems to be compensated by the surge on the 5th Day and the anticipated boost on Gandhi Jayanthi.
While the anticipated collection figures are still debatable, there is no doubt about Jr. NTR’s increasing support in the “Hindi Heartland”.

Although Devara is the first solo film of Jr. NTR releasing to the Hindi audience, he seems to be already doing better than many conventional “superstars” of the industry.
The audience’s love for Jr. NTR is also visible from the fact that Devara collections on Day 5 saw a greater rise on the Hindi BO than they did on its Telugu counterpart.
While stars like Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan have struggled to survive, Jr. NTR has performed in a much more commendable manner, considering this being his first solo-release in Hindi Cinema.
