Dhurandhar continues to set new benchmarks at the box office with each passing day. Film critic Taran Adarsh recently stated that the film is close to the Rs. 600 crores mark, with upcoming holidays expected to push collections further.
Taran Adarsh noted that given the current trend, the spy thriller could challenge the numbers achieved by Pushpa 2 last year. He recalled that Allu Arjun’s action drama earned Rs. 800 crores, and added that Ranveer Singh’s film could aim higher.
The trade expert also shared another update, revealing that Dhurandhar had collected close to Rs. 580 crores by its third Sunday. Strong footfalls and consistent occupancy levels continue to drive its impressive run across theatres.
Girish Johar echoed similar views while reacting to the film’s performance. He said he was surprised by the audience response and described Dhurandhar as a wild tsunami in its third week, especially within the domestic market.
If current projections hold, Dhurandhar may become one of the highest-grossing films of Ranveer Singh’s career. Online users are already predicting that a sequel could pose stiff competition to other films releasing on the same date.
Ranveer’s fans have also expressed relief and excitement over his strong comeback. Many believe this success marks the start of a new phase where Singh continues to deliver consistent box office results.
At the same time, some viewers have advised RS to keep experimenting with diverse roles. They feel he should avoid repeating similar films and instead choose scripts that present fresh stories and a different on-screen presence.
With two new titles arriving on Christmas, attention now shifts to whether Dhurandhar can reach the Rs. 1,000 crores milestone. The coming days will reveal how the film holds up amid fresh competition.
