Aditya Dhar is preparing a massive cinematic experience for Ranveer Singh fans. His upcoming actioner Dhurandhar is expected to be the actor’s longest film so far.
With a huge starcast and a detailed storyline, Aditya Dhar wants every character to get proper screen time. He aims to build each role with depth and a clear narrative flow.
Industry talk suggests that Dhurandhar may cross the three hour mark. This extended runtime could help viewers connect with each character and improve the overall emotional impact.
The film’s scale is vast, and the long runtime is expected to support its expansive storytelling. The final duration will be locked within the next ten days, but it is already set to exceed three hours.
Since the first look released, users have compared Dhurandhar to Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal. They pointed out similarities in the visuals and background score.
This may be unintentional, but many feel that Aditya Dhar is influenced by the success of Animal. They believe he may be trying to recreate a similar intense atmosphere in his film.
Animal also crossed the three hour mark with a runtime of three hours and twenty five minutes. With Dhurandhar also going beyond three hours, viewers see parallels in narrative structure and tone.
Once Dhurandhar crosses the three hour mark, it will become Ranveer Singh’s longest film. Until now, Dil Dhadakne Do held that record with two hours and fifty one minutes, followed by Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani at two hours and forty three minutes.
The official trailer of Dhurandhar will launch on November 18. The event will feature the star cast, including Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, and Sanjay Dutt.
