First Dolby Cinema

Dolby launched India’s first Dolby Cinema at City Pride Multiplex in Kharadi, Pune, on July 3. Now, everyone will get a premium movie-watching experience with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos technologies. This only marks the beginning of a larger rollout.

Yes, this is because five more multiplexes from the same company are already planned across Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Trichy, Ullikal, and Kochi.

Talking about the Pune cinema, it features a 310-seat capacity across 14 rows. Currently, it is the only auditorium in India to have a Dolby Vision dual 4K laser projection system. So, all you can expect is exceptional contrast, colour, and clarity.

Reportedly, the theatre includes spacious, reservable seating, curved wall-to-wall-to-ceiling screens, lighting, and distraction-free interiors. Currently, you can enjoy four seating categories which are 3D Vision Classic, XL, Prime, and Sofa.
