Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas finished shooting for Tyson Naidu a long time ago, but the film is still nowhere near its release. When asked about the delay, the actor said he was only the hero and that the producers should answer the questions. Technically, he is right. But is that enough?
The audience does not see a film as the producer’s responsibility alone. They associate it with the hero and the director more than anyone else. When a film keeps getting delayed, obviously the lead actor will face questions, especially when there is no clarity about when it will hit theatres.
Nobody expects Bellamkonda to fix the release date himself. But simply saying he is not the producer does not help explain what is happening to Tyson Naidu. If he knows why the film is being held back, he can at least share what he knows.
The producers are answerable for the delay, but Bellamkonda cannot completely wash his hands of the issue. He may not control the film’s release, but that does not mean he has nothing to say about it.
