Genelia Reply to Siddharth Kannan Won Telugu Fans Hearts

Genelia D’Souza will soon be returning to the big screen in B-town with Sitaare Zameen Par. The much-anticipated Aamir Khan project is a sports drama featuring persons with autism and Down syndrome.

Genelia has been extensively promoting the film by appearing in interviews, podcasts, and public events.

She was recently seen in an interaction with Siddharth Kannan, where he was seen asking her about the difference between working in the South and Bollywood.

He tried to instigate her by asking if she is happy with the roles she gets in the South industry. To this, she gave an astute and apt response, which has won the hearts of all South Indian film lovers.

She said that her passion for her work is most important, and if she enjoys her work, nothing else matters.

As far as the South Indian film industry is concerned, she has always been happy with her roles, and they went on to become some iconic characters which are still famous in the Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada film industries.

Genelia has worked with SS Rajamouli in Sye, and she was launched in South Indian films by Shankar’s Boys in 2003. She called it her learning ground and always feels indebted to it.

Her most memorable film was Bommarillu where she played Hasini, an immortal character in the annals of Telugu cinema history.

Although the makers of SZP have not been able to generate much hype about the film, the fans of Genelia D’Souza are excited for her big-screen comeback.




It will be interesting to note how the film fares at the box office, or if it will need OTT backing to reach wider demographics and fulfill its gross collections.
