John Abraham is all set to reboot the Force franchise with Force 3, and fans are already excited. The actor first played ACP Yashvardhan Singh in Force (2011) and returned in Force 2 (2016). Now, he is ready to bring back the action with an even bigger film.
After working on the project for over two years and buying back the rights from Vipul Shah, John has promised to deliver desi action with a fresh twist. He believes this could be his most ambitious action film yet.
The film will be directed by Bhav Dhulia, who is known for Khakhee, The Bihar Story and The Freelancer. Sources reveal that he has added his unique touch to the script while keeping the essence of ACP Yashvardhan Singh intact. The team is also in search of a strong villain to create an impactful clash. Fans still remember the face-off between John Abraham and Vidyut Jamwal in Force, and expectations are high for another epic showdown.
For the first time, the Force franchise will take a pan-India approach. Meenakshi Chaudhary, the rising South star from Sankranthiki Vastunnam, Lucky Baskhar and Guntur Kaaram, has been cast opposite John. Her presence is expected to bring freshness to the film, and reports suggest that she will also be part of the action.
John is currently busy shooting for the Rakesh Maria biopic. Force 3 is scheduled to go on floors in the second half of 2025. This could mean back-to-back action-packed films from him, making it an exciting year for his fans.
The big question is whether Force 3 can match today’s global action standards. While earlier films in the series performed decently, audiences today expect international-level action. With Bhav Dhulia’s direction and John’s dedication, the makers aim to deliver next-level stunts while keeping the desi flavour intact.
The film is expected to begin shooting by late 2025. With John Abraham leading the way, Bhav Dhulia’s vision, Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead, and a yet-to-be-announced villain, Force 3 promises to be one of the most thrilling action films in Indian cinema.
