July seems to be a heavily packed month for cinema lovers with back to back big releases both domestic and international. Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara, Vikrant Massey’s Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, Rajkumar Rao’s Maalik and Anurag Basu’s Metro… In Dino are all set to release in the first half of July.
And the later half will have Son of Sardaar 2 and if all goes by the initial plan then Param Sundari. Meanwhile, international biggies like The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Smurfs, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Final Destination Bloodlines and Superman will also be releasing across the month.
The megamind at Maddock Films, Dinesh Vijan, is a quick thinker and he has started rethinking about the release date of Param Sundari which was set to release on 25 July battling it out against Ajay Devgn’s Son of Sardaar 2. If rumours are to be considered then the release of Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor starrer is going to shift to 29 August to yield best box office results.
The teaser and music by Sonu Nigam has created much buzz but in the benefit of the film fans are expected to understand the change of schedule. Whether Param Sundari releases in July or not, the box office is packed with big releases and fans will have a tough time deciding what to watch and what to leave.
