Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film Love & War is moving towards its promotional stage. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, the film was announced in January 2024. It has maintained strong interest thanks to its star cast and Bhansali’s signature romantic drama style.
Industry reports indicate that the first look of Love & War is likely to arrive in January 2026. The makers have reportedly planned a January reveal from the beginning. The first asset could be a poster or a few curated stills from the film.
Although leaked photos of the actors have circulated online, Bhansali is said to want the official reveal to represent his own creative vision. He aims for a controlled presentation that reflects the tone and world of Love & War.
Production is currently in its closing stages. Alia Bhatt recently filmed a wedding sequence with Ranbir Kapoor in Mumbai. She is left with only the climax portion to complete her part. Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal will continue shooting for around six more weeks for key sequences.
There is no confirmed release date yet. The earlier March 19 plan has been postponed. Rumours suggest that Bhansali is evaluating an August 14 release. Another report claims Ranbir Kapoor prefers a June release to maintain distance from Ramayana Part 1.
For now, the focus is on January 2026. Fans and the film industry are waiting for the first official look of Love & War, which will mark the beginning of its promotional campaign.
