Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s name was in much buzz ever since they were finalised for Cocktail 2. The Maddock Films is planning to bring a spiritual sequel to Cocktail with the current generation of stars.
Yet, at its heart it remains a film about love, friendship and complicated emotions that arise due to unprecedented circumstances. Now, it has been reported that Rashmika Mandanna has been confirmed for Cocktail 2.
While the first film dealt with a love triangle, this one is supposed to deal with infidelity in marriage. Makers are claiming that it is going to be quite unique and fans won’t be anticipating this.
The story will be highly emotional and heartfelt that is for sure. Fans started speculating online what could be so unique about Cocktail 2.
Some interesting ideas emerged, where fans felt this could be about a homosexual love affair between Rashmika and Kriti. Or maybe Shahid is the husband and it deals with polyamorous love but they wondered if the Indian audiences would be ready for such an advance take.
It could be anything else too but we can only wait for further updates.
