Shah Rukh Khan’s latest venture on the silver screen ‘Dear Zindagi’, featuring actor Alia Bhatt, has earned a lot of positive reactions from the public. However, the twitterati seem to be angry at him for something. Apparently, the renowned actor recently did a promotional interview for the film and one statement from the interview did not go well with the Twitter users.

In an attempt to praise director Gauri Shinde and actress Alia Bhatt, the actor said, “I don’t want to sound pro-feminist and say that these girls have made a beautiful film yaar, but they really have.” The reactions to this statement went from disbelief to disappointment to rage.
While Harkeerat Kaur Anand said, “Can’t believe it’s 2016 and @iamsrk has a problem sounding ‘Pro-Feminist’! Why,oh why? #SoHeartbroken #disappointed”, twitter user @genesiaalves questioned the reason behind the statement and said, “Is it bait? Or just ignorance?” Another twitter user @samjourno123 commented, “The word you might be looking for is ‘patronising’, SRK.”
