Watching Suriya and Dhanush together on the big screen would itself be an interesting prospect. Now, there is buzz that Mani Ratnam is planning to bring the two actors together for his next film. The possibility is now generating buzz in Tamil film circles. As per the industry Mani Ratnam is considering the two actors for an upcoming multi-starrer.
The latest talk is that Suriya and Dhanush have liked the idea and given their nod to the project. If this happens, it will be a rare combination that audiences would love to see on the big screen. However, there is no official announcement yet.
Suriya has worked with Mani Ratnam before in Aaytha Ezhuthu, but Dhanush is yet to work with the filmmaker. This would also mark Dhanush’s first collaboration with the director.
Meanwhile, Mani Ratnam has completed shooting for Inji Vellam, featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Sai Pallavi. The film is reportedly targeting a January 2027 release.
